Lincoln Area Music Society continues to provide quality musical programs to the community

[August 24, 2016]   LINCOLN - LAMS just finished providing four Sunday evenings of “Concerts in the Park” with the Summer Band program under the direction of Jeff Arbisi.

Starting in October, the Orchestra under the direction of Julie Kasa and the Chorale under the direction of Tim Searby will kick off their rehearsal schedule to prepare for the Holiday Concerts in December.

The group is encouraging instrumentalists and vocalists to join the ranks of this talented group of musicians as they prepare for the Holiday concerts. The Orchestra meets on Sunday afternoons and the Chorale meets on Tuesday evenings. The group invites people from High School on up to participate.

In addition to the Summer Band and Holiday Concerts and Spring Concerts by the Orchestra and Chorale the group also provides scholarships for area high school students who are involved in the program.
