| CAPCIL is one of several agencies in the State of Illinois that 
			offers energy assistance through the LIHEAP program. The service 
			area for this assistance covers DeWitt, Fulton, Logan, Mason, 
			Menard, and Piatt counties. 
 Three priority groups will be served during the next several months:
 
				Priority Group 1 – Includes households with a person 
				who is elderly (60+) and/or has a disability (beginning 
				September 1st)
Priority Group 2 – Includes families with children 
				under the age of 6 years and households who are disconnected 
				and/or whose existing heating systems are not operational or 
				have been red-tagged by their utility company (beginning 
				October 1st).
Priority Group 3 – Includes households that meet 
				income guidelines. (beginning November 1st). 
				
				 The LIHEAP eligibility qualifications are as follows: 
					Household income must be equal to or less than 150% of 
					the Federal Poverty LevelUtility bill must be in the name of the occupant of the 
					home For Example: A single person-household can qualify 
					with a monthly income of up to $1485 or a family of four can 
					earn up to $3038.
 Appointments are required for services. All LIHEAP 
					applicants must provide proper documentation when applying 
					for assistance at their scheduled appointment. Applicants 
					must bring in proof of income for the 30 day income period 
					beginning with the date of the application for all household 
					members, social security cards for all household members, 
					and their most recent gas and/or electric bill. Funding is 
					available through May 31, 2017 or when funds are depleted.

The new Client Kiosk is also now available. By visiting
http://s13.cap60.com/kioskv3/Home/ SetDBName/capCentralIL  clients may 
provide general household information, income information, upload documents, and 
submit application information prior to the appointment. This is a best 
practice, but a helpful service to make the appointments move more quickly. The 
kiosk is easy to use, secure, and available to anyone with access to the 
internet and an active e-mail account. 
For individuals in Logan and Mason County on-demand transportation appointments 
or flex route rides are available. Call the CAPCIL Transportation Program at
