- June M. Loy, 84, of Atlanta, passed away at 3:48 a.m. on Thursday,
August 18, 2016, at her home. |

10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, August 20, at the
Atlanta Assembly Church in Atlanta.
Service:
11 a.m. Saturday at the church

Obituary
June M. Loy, 84, of Atlanta, passed away at 3:48
a.m. on Thursday, August 18, 2016, at her home.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August
20, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. at the Atlanta Assembly
Church in Atlanta.
Visitation will be held at the church from 10:00
a.m. until the time of the service on Saturday,
August 20, 2016.
Burial will be in Atlanta Cemetery.
June Mardelle Cavanaugh was born October 6, 1931, in
Mason City, the daughter of Thomas and Eva Forbis
Cavanaugh. She married William B. Loy, Sr. in 1951.
June is survived by their children: William B. Loy,
Jr. of Atlanta, Pamela Jean (Frank) Fosdick of
Bloomington, Patty Ann (Wayne) Tibbs of Atlanta,
Thomas Eugene Loy of Atlanta, and Darren L. (Wanda)
Loy of Bloomington; seven grandchildren; 6
great-grandchildren; and one brother: Vontross
(Gloria) Cavanaugh of Michigan. |
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Peggy Loy.
June was a 1949 graduate of Mason City High School. She had worked
at General Electric in Bloomington. June was a member of the Atlanta
Assembly church.
Memorials may be made to the Atlanta Rescue Squad, Safe Haven
Hospice or Atlanta Assembly church.
Final arrangements are entrusted with Quiram-Peasley Funeral Home of
Atlanta.
