Illinois grain prices in country elevators

[August 25, 2016]  SPRINGFIELD — This is Thursday's report of the grain prices and trends prepared by the USDA and the Illinois Department of Agriculture.

In Northern and Western Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled corn bids were down 4 cents. Soybean bids were 22 to 30 cents lower.

In Central Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled corn bids were down 5 to 6 cents. Soybean bids were 29 to 30 cents lower.

In the Southern part of the state, shelled corn bids were down 4 to 6 cents. Soybean bids dropped 28 to 30 cents. Wheat bids were 2 cents lower.
