LC Coach Mark Tippett: "I was very pleased with our performance
tonight especially with our defensive intensity. We played great
team defense and our back row players did a fantastic job of
keeping plays alive to give us a chance to score. We also served
effectively and made good decisions on offense. This was the
first college game for a lot of our players and for a few it was
the first match in a long time. To get a win early in convincing
fashion should give this group confidence moving forward.
Overall, I'd say we are off to a fantastic start."
