							Obituary 
							Russell H. Cook, 66, of Beason, passed away on 
							Thursday, August 18, 2016, at 11:15 p.m. at Memorial 
							Medical Center in Springfield.
 Visitation for Russell will be held on Sunday, 
							August 21, 2016, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at 
							the Quiram-Peasley Funeral Home in Atlanta.
 
 Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 22, 
							2016, at 10:30 a.m. at Quiram-Peasley Funeral Home. 
							Rev. Mike Abel will officiate. Cremation Rites to be 
							accorded.
 
 Russell H. Cook was born October 5, 1949, in 
							Lincoln, the son of Willard and Louemma Dalbey Cook. 
							He married Judith Ann Tabor on October 15, 1977. She 
							survives.
 
 He is further survived by their children: Anthony 
							(Hope) Cook of Lincoln, Sarah (Ryan Bohm) Cook of 
							Cornell, and Jennifer (Brandon Miller) Cook of 
							Lincoln; eight grandchildren; and five siblings: 
							Darwin (Beverly) Cook of Tuscon, Mavis Cook of 
							McLean, Jim (Lena) Cook of Bartonville, Gary Cook 
							and John Cook, both of McLean.

                Russell was preceded in death by his parents.
 Russell graduated from Atlanta High School in 1967. Russell was 
				a graduate of Zion Bible College in Rhode Island, where he 
				received a degree in education. He also graduated from North 
				Central Bible College in St. Paul, Minn. Russell served in the 
				United States Navy during the Vietnam era with the 121st Fighter 
				Squadron as an Administration and Production Clerk. Most 
				recently, he was employed by Central Illinois Ag as a mechanic.
 
 Memorials may be made to the family.
 
 Final arrangements are entrusted with Quiram-Peasley Funeral 
				Home of Atlanta.
