			Aug 26 (The Sports Xchange) - The New York Rangers agreed to terms 
			with free-agent forward Brandon Pirri on a one-year contract Friday 
			worth $1.1 million. 
 Pirri, 25, split last season between Florida and Anaheim, 
			registering 14 goals, 15 assists and 30 penalty minutes in 61 games. 
			He established career-highs in several categories in 2015-16, 
			including games played, assists and points (29). He recorded a goal 
			on five of his six shootout attempts (83.3 percent) and registered 
			two game-deciding goals during the season.
 The 6-foot, 183-pound Pirri has skated in 166 career NHL games over 
			parts of six seasons with Chicago, Florida, and Anaheim, recording 
			80 points (49 goals, 31 assists) and 52 penalty minutes.

 The Anaheim Ducks signed first-round draft pick Max Jones to a 
			three-year entry-level contract.
 
 The 18-year-old left winger helped lead London to the Memorial Cup 
			and Ontario Hockey League championships in 2016, collecting one 
			goal, one assist and 23 penalty minutes in six playoff games. Jones 
			appeared in his rookie OHL season in 2015-16, recording 52 points 
			(28 goals, 24 assists) in 63 games.

			The 
			6-foot-2, 206-pound Jones was selected by Anaheim with the 24th 
			overall pick in the 2016 NHL draft.

 The Minnesota Wild agreed to terms with defenseman Gustav Bouramman 
			to a three-year, entry-level contract.
 
			
			 
			Bouramman, 19, posted 46 points (six goals, 40 assists) and 43 
			penalty minutes in 68 games with Sault Ste. Marie of the Ontario 
			Hockey League in 2015-16.
 Bouramman was selected by Minnesota in the seventh round of the 2015
