Obituary
Wm. Dean Fulkerson, 62, of Lincoln formerly of
Elkhart passed away at 9:13 p.m. on Friday, November
18, 2016 at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital in
Lincoln.
Dean was born November 3, 1954 in Springfield, the
son of Robert E. and Elsa (Gray) Fulkerson.
Dean is survived by his long time companion Susan
Johnson of Elkhart; her sons, Matt, Brian (Crystal,
sons: Aiden, Ethan), Beau (daughter Averie), two
sisters, Betty (Dan) Althoff of Fort Meyers, FL and
Bobbie Fulkerson of Sacramento, CA; and four nieces,
Elizabeth, Sara, Christine, and Amanda, great nieces
and nephew.
Dean enjoyed life to the fullest with all his many
friends and loving family. His passion was fishing,
riding his Harley, cooking.

He was well-know on the fair circuit with his
concession stand “SNAK SHAK” at Menard, Logan,
Christian County Fairs, and Illinois State Fair
where he had forty years dedication of service. He
also farmed many years on the Fulkerson Family Farm
in Fancy Prairie.
A memorial services and celebration of life will be
held at a later date.
Services have been entrusted to
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home, Lincoln.
