[December 05, 2016]   LINCOLN - In what is hoped will be the first of many community/College collaborations, Lincoln College Theatre invites the public to audition for its spring main stage show, Abe Lincoln in Illinois, on Monday, December 12 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on the main stage at the Johnston Center on Lincoln College’s campus.

This production requires a large and varied cast of all ages and genders.

Rehearsals begin on January 9, 2017 and go through February 11 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Tech rehearsals begin on February 12, 2017.
Abe Lincoln in Illinois performances are February 16-19 and 23-25, 2017.

“We hope to have a great showing from the community to join with our students in what will be a fun romp through Abe’s time in our state,” said Doug Rosson, Lead Theatre Faculty member at Lincoln College.

All roles are available and auditions will be cold readings; no resume or monologue needed.
“Whatever your theatrical background, come out and play! Or, if you just want to help backstage, that’s great, too,” noted Rosson.
