Director Tim Searby is pleased to announce that auditions will be
held on Monday, December 12. In addition to casting LCU students,
faculty and staff, auditions will be open to the general public.

“’Joseph’ is a great family show and the University hopes to make
this a true community event,” said Searby, “We are looking for
actors and actresses from 15 years old through -- who knows?”

The Monday night auditions will be held from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. and
			from 8:00 to 9:30 p.m. in the Earl C Hargrove Chapel room C 144,
which is Professor Jim Allison’s office. Call-backs will be
scheduled as necessary. Rehearsals will begin on January 23, 2017.

Anyone trying out for the show should come prepared to sing a song
of his or her choice. An accompanist will be provided, but actors
and actresses will need to bring their own music.

Searby is planning a totally new staging which will include
costuming by Grand Ball Costumes of Charleston, Illinois, new sets
and choreography. The LCU production will be the mega-mix based on
			the United Kingdom revival production.

This enchanting Andrew Lloyd Webber/Tim Rice musical explodes like
glittering fireworks. A brilliant celebration of words, music and
color for this exciting retelling of the beautiful story of Joseph.
