Obituary
Doris was born on January 17, 1923 in Logan County,
daughter of John and Bertha (Krueger) Geyer.
Surviving Doris are her children: Faye (Terry) Kirk
of Naples, FL; Shirley (Roger) Alberts of Surprise,
AZ; Kaye Peters of San Diego, CA; John White of
Madison, WI; one sister: Erna Hassebrock of
Grandville, OH; one brother: Eugene Geyer of Mount
Pulaski, five grandchildren, seven
great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, one
nephew and three nieces. Doris was preceded in death
by her parents.
Doris was a registered nurse at St. Clara’s Manor in
Lincoln and retired as a nurse from Abraham Lincoln
Memorial Hospital also in Lincoln. She was a member
of the Retired Nurses Organization of Lincoln. Doris
was of the Lutheran Faith. |
Doris chose to be cremated. A private family
graveside will be held at a later date.
Memorials may be made in Doris’ name to St. Clara’s
Manor of Lincoln.
Services are entrusted to Fricke-Calvert-Schrader
Funeral home in Lincoln.
