The two teams were knotted up 12-12 after the first quarter
but a huge second quarter by the Lady Raiders was the difference
maker in this one.
Midwest Central outscored Mount Pulaski 19-6 in the second
quarter behind three 3s by Madyson Harper and six points from
Alison Trettin. Harper and Trettin would continue their hot
shooting and lead the Lady Raiders to a 44-28 lead after three
quarters of play.
Skylar Hayes had 22 points for Mount Pulaski, who just could not
dig themselves out of that early deficit and finally fell 58-39.
Mount Pulaski will play at Springfield Lutheran Thursday night
with the JV game scheduled to start at 6 p.m.
