Russell Westbrook scored 37 points to lead the Oklahoma City Thunder
to a 99-96 victory over the Boston Celtics on Sunday, though his
streak of consecutive triple-doubles ended at seven games.
Westbrook shot 14 of 26 to go along with 12 rebounds and six
assists. He hit 1 of 2 free throws in the final seconds to push the
margin to three points before Boston's Marcus Smart missed a 3-point
attempt that would have tied the score.

Kanter came off the bench to score 14 points for the Thunder.
Al Horford paced the Celtics with 19 points and six rebounds, and
Boston's Jae Crowder and Avery Bradley each posted 18 points.
Warriors 116, Timberwolves 108
Golden State rallied past Minnesota to preserve its NBA-record,
111-game streak without consecutive losses.
One night after a road loss to the Memphis Grizzlies, the Warriors
put together a big fourth quarter to fend off the Timberwolves. The
Warriors trailed by 10 after three quarters but outscored Minnesota
38-20 in the fourth. Klay Thompson scored 12 of his 30 points during
a 25-4 Golden State spurt to start the final period.

start of the season as Philadelphia beat.

rebounds and nine assists for the 76ers, who won back-to-back games
for only the second time this season following a win at New Orleans
on Thursday. Robert Covington added 16 points and seven rebounds for
the 76ers.

The Pelicans snapped a five-game losing streak and won for the first

Davis, well below his league-leading average of 31.4 per game. Davis
added a team-high 12 rebounds.

overtime for the Suns, who missed a chance at their second set of
