Blue Ridge had quite the offensive trio in Alex Specht, Josie
Grammer and Hannah Brackenhoff, who combined to score 46 points,
with Grammer and Brackenhoff sinking 7 three pointers between
them. This offensive display allowed Blue Ridge to take the
first quarter lead 17-8 and then the halftime lead 31-18.
The Lady Hilltoppers put up just nine points on the board in the
third quarter and still trailed 39-27 to start the fourth
quarter.
Mount Pulaski tossed in 20 points in that final quarter with
Hayes having 15 points in the last eight minutes. But on the
other side, Blue Ridge poured in 20 points, too.
The final in this one, 59-47 as Mount Pulaski falls to 4-7.
The Lady Hilltoppers were led by Skylar Hayes with 26 points,
including 3 three pointers of her own. Morgan May tossed in 8
points for Mount Pulaski.
