The seventh grade team secured a 49-36 victory over the Tars.
Elijah Pollice led the way with 15 points, five rebounds, two
assists, and a steal. Brody Whiteman played a solid game with 12
points, 13 rebounds, three assists, five steals, and three
blocks. Scotty Battin followed up with 10 points, two assists,
and two steals. Jacob Langley contributed 6 points, six
rebounds, a steal, and an assist. Daulton Miller added 4 points,
five rebounds, two assists, four steals, and a block. Drew
Bowman chipped in 2 points, a rebound, and a steal.
The Wolverines continued their winning streak with a record of
14-0.
The eighth grade game proved to be a fast-paced and exciting
game.
After being out sick the previous game, Lucas Konczyk wowed the
crowd as he rained six three-pointers and added a bucket for a
tally of 20 points, three rebounds, an assist, and a steal.
Patrick McCraith led the offense with 14 assists and added 5
points, four rebounds, a steal, a block, and a 'pretty sick'
behind-the-back-through-the-legs dribble to knock the Tars off
their game. Elijah Pollice raised the score 13 points. Braydon
Saylor battled in the post with 11 rebounds and added 4 points,
an assist, and a steal. Brody Whiteman pulled down nine rebounds
and put up 3 points and grabbed a steal. Daulton Miller chipped
in 4 points. The Wolverines secured the victory over the Tars
with a score of 49-42.
The Wolverines will be on hiatus for the holidays and return in
the seventh grade Logan County Tournament on January 7th.
