Obituary
Helen Taft, 60, of Lincoln passed away on Monday,
December 12, 2016 at her home in Lincoln.
Helen was born on July 24, 1956 in Lincoln, the
daughter of Thomas Eldon and Helen (Wade) Frye.
Helen is survived by her son, Tommy Jospeh Taft of
DuPont, WA, her sister, Mary Ellen Frye of Lincoln,
her brothers, Robert Alan Frye of Lincoln, Charles
Lee Grimsley of Springfield, and John Stanley
Grimsley of Lincoln.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her son,
Toby Allen William Taft; her sister, Kandy Ann Frye;
and her brother, Joseph John Grimsley.

Helen was a member of Lincoln Christian Church. She
truly loved going to The Festival of Lights in
Peoria. Helen also loved nature, going for walks and
music.
Services for Helen will be held at 11:00 a.m.
Friday, December 16, 2016 at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader
Funeral Home in Lincoln, IL, with Ron Otto
officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to
the service (10:00 a.m.-11:00a.m.).
Memorial donations may be made in Helen’s name to
Lincoln Christian Church.
