Boston Bruins forward David Pastrnak likely will miss at least the
next two games after having a procedure on his right elbow, the team
announced Saturday.
"David underwent a successful removal of the olecranon bursa from
his right elbow on Friday," Bruins general manager Don Sweeney said
in a statement.
"He will likely be unavailable for the games on Sunday and Tuesday.
His condition will be re-assessed on a day-to-day basis."
Pastrnak has 19 goals in 27 games this season, which rank him second
in the NHL and two behind Sidney Crosby of the Pittsburgh Penguins.
Pastrnak also has seven assists and 10 penalty minutes.

The Washington Capitals recalled forward Zach Sanford from the
Hershey Bears of the American Hockey League.
Sanford, 22, has one assist in 19 games with the Capitals this
season. The Salem, Mass., native made his NHL debut on Oct. 13 at
Pittsburgh and earned his first NHL point with an assist on Oct. 30
at Calgary.

The Calgary Flames reassigned defenseman Tyler Wotherspoon to the
Stockton Heat of the American Hockey League.
Wotherspoon, 23, skated in 26 games for the Flames in the last three
seasons, totaling five assists.
Wotherspoon was selected by the Flames in the second round pick
(57th overall) of the 2011 NHL draft. (Editing by Andrew Both)
