Obituary
Esther M. Horn ,97, passed away at 7:22 a.m. on
December 19, 2016 at Vonderlieth Living Center in
Mt. Pulaski.
Esther was born on January 15, 1919 in Lincoln,
daughter of Fred and Christina (Schrauf) Werth. She
married Emerson B. Horn on June 11, 1943 in Eureka.
He preceded her in death on May 22, 2006.
Surviving Esther are her two sons: Edwin (Yvonne)
Horn of Streator, and Kevin (Susan) Horn of Mount
Pulaski. She was preceded in death by her parents
and three brothers: Donald, Dean, and Glen.
She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Mount
Pulaski. Her favorite past time hobbies included;
dancing, bowling, playing bingo, gardening, and she
loved watching sports on T.V.

Services for Esther will be 11:00 a.m. Friday
December23, 2016 at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral
Home in Mount Pulaski with Rev. Jonathan Buescher
officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to
the service also at the funeral home. Burial at
Mount Pulaski Cemetery will follow the service.
Memorials may be made in Esther’s name to Zion
Lutheran Church or the Mount Pulaski EMS.
