NBA roundup: Clippers blow out Bulls

[February 01, 2016]  LOS ANGELES -- Jamal Crawford came off the bench to score 26 points, allowing the Los Angeles Clippers to blow out the Chicago Bulls 120-93 on Sunday at Staples Center.

J.J. Redick scored 21 points on 7-of-11 shooting, hitting all four of his 3-pointers, Chris Paul had 19 points and seven assists and DeAndre Jordan added 17 points, 20 rebounds and four blocks for the Clippers, who captured their fourth straight win.

Jimmy Butler had 23 points and Derrick Rose contributed 20 points for the Bulls, who dropped four of their last six games. Pau Gasol chipped in 15 points and 14 rebounds.

Warriors 116, Knicks 95

NEW YORK -- Draymond Green recorded his ninth triple-double of the season, leading Golden State to a win over New York.

Green scored 20 points, grabbed 10 rebounds and dished out 10 assists in the Warriors' seventh consecutive victory. He tied Tom Gola's franchise record for the most triple-doubles in a season.

Golden State's Klay Thompson had 34 points on 14-of-18 shooting. Carmelo Anthony topped the Knicks with 24 points and 10 rebounds for his 13th double-double of the season.

Heat 105, Hawks 87

MIAMI -- Chris Bosh scored a game-high 18 points, and Miami won its fourth consecutive game, defeating Atlanta at AmericanAirlines Arena.

The Heat, playing just their second home game since Jan. 6, got production from an unexpected source. Amar'e Stoudemire had 13 points and a game-high 12 rebounds for his first double-double of the season. Miami also got 17 points each from Dwyane Wade and Luol Deng. Wade added a game-high eight assists. Heat rookie Justise Winslow came off the bench to contribute 10 points and nine rebounds.

The Hawks got 17 points each from Paul Millsap and Al Horford.

Magic 119, Celtics 114

ORLANDO, Fla. -- Evan Fournier scored 24 points, including 15 in the fourth quarter, to lead Orlando over Boston.

The Magic snapped an eight-game losing streak and won just their second game in January. Aaron Gordon scored 19 points and had a career-high 13 rebounds, rookie Mario Hezonja had a career-high 17 points, Tobias Harris had 16 points, Nikola Vucevic scored 16 points with grabbed 13 rebounds and Victor Oladipo contributed 11 points.

Marcus Smart led everyone with 26 points for the Celtics, including six points in the last 19 seconds that kept it close. Isaiah Thomas had 23 points and Avery Bradley added 22 points. Amir Johnson had eight points and a team-high 11 rebounds.

Mavericks 91, Suns 78

DALLAS -- Deron Williams scored 27, and Dallas did enough late to subdue injury-depleted Phoenix.

The Mavericks, playing without a resting Dirk Nowitzki, went on a 21-3 run in the fourth quarter to pull away and finish off a three-game sweep of the season series with Phoenix.

Devin Booker paced the Suns with 19 points. The Suns took their fourth consecutive loss and their 10th in 11 games, and they dropped their 14th in a row on the road, tied for the second-longest such streak in franchise history.

Trail Blazers 96, Timberwolves 93

PORTLAND, Ore. -- CJ McCollum and Damian Lillard each scored 21 points as Portland held off a late rally by Minnesota at the Moda Center.

Lillard also dished out eight assists for the Trail Blazers, who won for the eighth time in 10 outings. Meyers Leonard came off the bench for 13 points for Portland.

Karl-Anthony Towns collected 21 points and 13 rebounds for the Timberwolves, who lost their fourth straight and for the 15th time in 17 contests. Andrew Wiggins contributed 15 points and nine rebounds and Ricky Rubio had 15 points and nine assists for Minnesota.

Hornets 101, Lakers 82

LOS ANGELES -- Marvin Williams and Michael Kidd-Gilchrist scored 19 points and grabbed 12 rebounds apiece, and Charlotte pounded Los Angeles.

Kemba Walker had 12 points, seven rebounds and six assists in three quarters for the Hornets, who snapped a two-game losing streak. Frank Kaminsky added 11 points.

Kobe Bryant scored 23 points, hitting four 3-pointers, to pace the Lakers, who tied a franchise record with their 10th consecutive loss.
