Panthers advance to finals in 8-2A Regional

[February 01, 2016]    The #1 seed in the Mount Pulaski 8th grade 2A regional, the Chester-East Lincoln Panthers advanced to the championship game with a 56-30 win over Illiopolis on Monday to improve their record to 16-3 on the season.

Noah Funk lead the way with 21 points, Will Ewald had 15, Isaac Dewberry had 9 points, Tanner Strampp had 3, and it was 2 points each for Seth Tungate, Xavier Miller, Jaden Pollice and Keenan Sowers.

The Panthers will play in the regional championship on Thursday at 6:30 at Mount Pulaski.
