Marian Hossa, Patrick Kane and Michal Rozsival also scored for the
Blackhawks while Oliver Ekman-Larsson, Mikkel Boedker, Jordan

Rangers 4, Wild 2
NEW YORK -- Derick Brassard scored early in the third period to help
the New York Rangers complete a two-goal comeback and beat Minnesota
at Madison Square Garden.
Ryan McDonagh, J.T. Miller and Chris Kreider also scored for the
Rangers, who got 16 saves from Henrik Lundqvist.
Ryan Carter and Matt Dumba scored for the Wild, while Devan Dubnyk
stopped 26 shots.
Bruins 3, Sabres 2 (SO)
BUFFALO, N.Y. -- Ryan Spooner scored in regulation and the shootout
to lead Boston over Buffalo.
Brad Marchand also scored in regulation for the Bruins while Tuukka
Rask made 26 saves.
Sam Reinhart and Evander Kane scored in regulation for the Sabres
while Chad Johnson made 31 saves.
Capitals 3, Islanders 2
WASHINGTON -- Alex Ovechkin scored the go-ahead goal with 2:40 left
and Washington defeated the New York Islanders.
Andre Burakovsky (five goals in his past four games) and T.J. Oshie
also scored for the Capitals and Braden Holtby made 24 saves.
Josh Bailey and Mikhail Grabovski scored for the Islanders.
Panthers 6, Red Wings 3
SUNRISE, Fla. -- First-place Florida won its fifth straight game,
defeating Detroit at the BB&T Center.
Jaromir Jagr had a goal and two assists -- his first three-point
game since October. The goal was his 16th of the season, breaking
the NHL record for a player age 43 or older -- one more than Gordie
Howe had in 1979-80.
Vincent Trocheck scored twice and Brandon Pirri, Aleksander Barkov
and Derek MacKenzie scored the other Panthers goals.
Dylan Larkin, a leading candidate for NHL Rookie of the Year honors,
scored twice for the Red Wings while Mike Green added a power-play
goal.
Oilers 7, Senators 2
OTTAWA -- Edmonton kicked off an important four-game road trip with
a convincing victory over sagging Ottawa at Canadian Tire Centre.
Jordan Eberle led the Oilers with two goals and an assist. Also
scoring for Edmonton were Mark Fayne, Andrej Sekera, Brandon
Davidson, Zack Kassian and Leon Draisaitl. Rookie Connor McDavid had
two assists for the Oilers in his second game back from a broken
collarbone.
Replying for the Senators were Mike Hoffman and Mark Stone.
Flyers 6, Predators 3

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Wayne Simmonds scored two goals, giving him six
in the last four games, as Philadelphia dumped Nashville at sold-out
Bridgestone Arena.
Claude Giroux scored two goals and Matt Read and Brayden Schenn
scored one each for the Flyers.
Shea Weber, Ryan Johansen and Calle Jarnkrok scored for the
Predators.
Sharks 3, Blues 1
ST. LOUIS -- Joonas Donskoi and Joe Thornton scored in a 3:20 span
in the second period to lead San Jose over St. Louis.
Joe Pavelski assisted on both goals for the Sharks, who also got a
goal from Matt Nieto.
Jay Bouwmeester scored the Blues lone goal.
Maple Leafs 3, Devils 2 (SO)
TORONTO -- Pierre-Alexandre Parenteau scored the only goal in a
shootout and Toronto toppled New Jersey.
The Maple Leafs tied the game late in the third period on a goal by
Tyler Bozak to force overtime. Shawn Matthias also scored for
Toronto.
David Schlemko and Jacob Josefson scored for the Devils.
Stars 4, Avalanche 3 (OT)
DENVER -- John Klingberg scores 35 seconds into overtime and Dallas
beat Colorado.
Jason Spezza, Ales Hemsky and Jason Demers also had goals for the
Stars and Antti Niemi had 21 saves.
Carl Soderberg and Blake Comeau had a goal and an assist apiece and
Nick Holden also scored for the Avalanche, who got 40 saves from
Calvin Pickard.
Blue Jackets 2, Canucks 1 (SO)
VANCOUVER, British Columbia -- Alexander Wennberg scored in the
shootout as Columbus defeated Vancouver.
Linden Vey scored on the power play in regulation for the Canucks
while Scott Hartnell's third-period, power-play goal for the Blue
Jackets forced the overtime.
Ducks 4, Kings 2
LOS ANGELES -- David Perron scored a goal and two assists, and Ryan
Getzlaf scored a goal and an assist as Anaheim defeated Los Angeles.
John Gibson stopped 23 Los Angeles shots as the Ducks, who also got
goals from Hampus Lindholm and Ryan Garbutt.
Alec Martinez and Tyler Toffoli scored for the Kings.
