Court orders state to reimburse State's Attorney and other subsidized county salaries

[February 12, 2016]  LINCOLN - During this month’s meeting of the Logan County Board’s Finance Committee, County Treasurer Vicki Dugan said State's Attorney Jonathan Wright had a Court Order come through and the state of Illinois has been ordered to catch up the State's Attorney, the Assistant State's Attorney, and the Assessor's reimbursements.

Dugan said the amount is a little over $100,000. She said it will show up in next month's revenues. Wright's Office had filed a lawsuit against the state a couple months ago to get these reimbursements.
