In set two, the Lynx made a much better showing and held
leads at times over their opponents, but some late hitting
errors let the lead slip away. LC lost the set 25-22.
The momentum was clearly with HLGU in set three as they built
an early 13-3 lead. LC was not ready to quit though, and they
slowly chipped away until they eventually came back to tie the
set at 23-23.
The two teams battled their way to a 31-31 tie, but two quick
points from LaGrange ended the set at 33-31. Lincoln's record in
matches they have played as one team fell to 2-2, overall the
team is 10-4 on the year.

LC Coach Mark Tippett: "This match was one where we just did not
play with much energy or intensity. It's disappointing because
the last time we were on the court we played so much better.
Hannibal had a good team, but I believe we should have competed
better against them. We showed that there was still some fight
in us late in the third set, and erased a big deficit, but it
would have been much better night had we played that way from
the start."
