Obituary
Patricia Harris, 75, of Springfield, formerly of
Woodlawn passed away on February 10, 2016 in rural
Elkhart.
Patricia was born on May 18, 1940 in Lincoln, the
daughter of Gerhard and Catherine Eimer Meiners. She
married Aaron Harris Sr. April 25, 1959 in Canton
MO. He has since preceded her in death.
Patricia is survived by her children, Dawn (Jim)
Kuznik and Aaron (Debbie Woolever) Harris Jr., her
brother, Bob (Doodie) Meiners; her sister, Karen
(Ron) Sampson; her grandchildren, Michelle (Jake
Mahler) Kuznik, Jessica (Joey) Rector, Brooke (Kyle)
Charron, Tyler (Sarah) Harris, and her ten
great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her
husband.

Patricia was an avid Cardinals baseball fan and
Illini fan. She also loved to read. Above all else,
Patricia loved her family; she will be greatly
missed by anyone who was fortunate enough to have
known her.
Services have been entrusted to
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln. A
private family memorial service will be held at a
later date. Memorials may be given in Pat’s name to
American Cancer Society or the American Diabetes
Foundation.
