According to the LLCC website, "More than 350 students from 22 high
schools in the Lincoln Land Community College District competed in
the annual WYSE regional level academic challenge Tuesday, February
2 at the LLCC-Springfield campus.
Students competed as individuals and as teams testing in their
choice of two to seven different subjects - biology, chemistry,
computer science, engineering graphics, English, mathematics and
physics. The tests are written by teams of college and university
faculty and are designed to present a challenge to high school
students."
Locally, Mount Pulaski and Hartsburg-Emden both competed in Division
