for Tea Committee names this years guest speaker

LINCOLN
- Kasey Schwartz, will be the speaker for the April 23rd Spring for
Tea, sponsored by the Harvest of Talents for World Hunger. Kasey,
wife and mom of three, author and professional blogger runs the
popular blog, All Things Mamma, where she shares tips and tricks on
making life easier and green, along with recipes, reviews, and
crafts.

Kasey's book, Essential Oils for a Clean and Healthy Home, is her
first, published in December of 2015. Her experience has also landed
her interviews for Sinclair Broadcasting’s Family 411 weekly
syndication and several local news stations. Kasey has also been
featured on Today.com, BetterHomesAndGardens.com, Wayfair.com,
ExtraordinaryMommy.com, ScaryMommy.com, Momdot.com, Top Mom Blogger,
MomTalk Radio, and a variety of other websites! Kasey can currently
be found as a weekly contributor on Fox Illinois’ Good Day
Marketplace, cooking in the kitchen, crafting or sharing life hacks!
Kasey, originally from West Virginia moved to Illinois in 1999. She
started her blog in 2009 in an effort to share her family and her
tips with other mammas and mammas-to-be. In 2009 she began the blog,
All Things Mamma, to talk about her family experiences and favorite
products in the hope of helping other moms. Her blog has evolved
into a favorite go-to site for every area of the home. Whether
you’re looking for the latest trends, decorating tips, DIY, natural
living or recipes, All Things Mamma focuses on green and clean
solutions for your home and family.
In announcing this year’s Tea speaker Chairperson, Marcia Bidwell,
expressed the joy of the Spring for Tea Committee in being able to
offer a young blogger and author. Bidwell commented, “Kasey will be
able to speak to women of all ages with her tips on green and clean
solutions for the home and family. We look forward to having her
share with our guests.”

Doors open to Spring for Tea on Saturday, April 23, at 10:45 a.m., with tea
being served at 11:30 a.m. A special tea, accompanied by tasty sweet and savory
tea foods, will be served from beautifully appointed tables hosted by women from
the community. A number of door prizes will be donated by individuals and area
businesses. Tickets are available, on a limited basis, for $25.00 each on a
first come, first served basis.
All proceeds from Spring for Tea will become a part of the 33rd Annual Harvest
of Talents for World Hunger to be held on the 4th Saturday in October, 2016 in
the Fellowship Center of Lincoln Christian Church, Lincoln. Every penny of
Harvest funds is designated to meet hunger needs in feeding programs, orphanages
and missions throughout the world, providing both physical and spiritual food to
those in need.
