MOUNT
PULASKI - Morgan Kinnaird, daughter of Melissa Hayes of Mount
Pulaski, has been named the February Senior-of-the-Month at Mount
Pulaski High School. She was selected for this honor based on the
criteria of scholarship, leadership, service, and character.

Morgan stays involved in school. She has been a member of FCCLA
for 4 years, FFA for 2 years, National Honor Society for 2 years,
Spanish Club for 4 years, and was the Homecoming Queen this year.
Outside of school Morgan works for her mom at the dairy bar and also
works at the Timbercrest Veterinary Clinic. She has also volunteered
at the Humane Society in Logan County for 2 years.
Morgan plans on double majoring in Pre-Veterinary Science and Marine
Biology next year at the University of Tampa in Tampa, FL.
The Senior-of-the-Month program is sponsored by Johnson’s Food
Center and Johnson True Value Hardware. Monthly award winners
receive a $50 award paid to the college they plan to attend. They
are also in the running for the $500 Senior-of-the-Year award
sponsored by Illinois National Bank.
