Emma was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and one brother, Jerry Overbey.

Emma was well-loved by her family and friends. She had a giving heart and would never hesitate to help a friend or stranger in need. She never asked for anything in return except for the joys and comfort of a friend. She touched so many people along her journey and her legacy will live on in the hearts of many. She will be greatly missed by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Even in her final days on earth her unselfishness and strength for her family could be seen by all.
