With her husband, she was a former owner of Davis Caves Homes. She had worked as a bus driver for the Olympia School District and the City of Bloomington. She worked for local seed companies as a crew boss during detasseling season.

Margaret felt her most important job she could have was being a great wife, mom, grandma, and great-grandma. She was the most warm-hearted, selfless, caring and compassionate person. She loved to sew, dance, sing and listen to music, especially Ernest Tubb and Hank Williams, but mostly Gene & Marty.

Her family especially thanks Dr. Matt Rossi whom went to Margaret's house several times for house calls when she wasn't able to get to the doctors' office. They also sincerely thank all the staff at Hopedale Medical Complex for their extraordinary care, compassion, and accommodation for their beloved mother.

Memorials may be made to Armington Christian Church.

Final arrangements are entrusted with Quiram-Peasley Funeral Home of Atlanta.
