Obituary
Evelyn Sisk, 87, passed away at 12:20 p.m. on
February 16, 2016 at her home surrounded by her
loving family.
Evelyn was born on October 16, 1928 in Lincoln,
daughter of Wayne and Sophia Shaub Emmons. She was
united in marriage to Harry Edgar Sisk on December
23, 1944 in Lincoln. He preceded her in death in
1989.
Surviving Evelyn are her children: Eva (Erskine)
Alley of Lincoln, Harry Sisk of Lincoln, Stanley
(Beatrice) Sisk of Lincoln, Ronald E. (Donna
Sprinkle) Sisk of Springfield, Judith (Owen) Eaton
of Lincoln; two brothers: Donald Emmons of Lincoln,
and Willard (Betty) Emmons also of Lincoln; one
sister Martha Louise Cobb of Lincoln; twenty-one
grandchildren; forty-three great-grandchildren;
thirty-one great-great-grandchildren. She was
preceded in death by her parents and several
grandchildren. |
Evelyn was a member of Lincoln Christian Church and
also a member of the Tops Club. She worked at
Lincoln Developmental Center and cooked at Lincoln
Christian University.
Services for Evelyn will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday
February 20, 2016 at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral
Home in Lincoln with Larry Crawford officiating.
Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Friday February 19,
2016 also at the funeral home. Burial at Zion
Cemetery will follow the service. Memorials may be
made in Evelyn’s name to the American Cancer
Association.
