Lincoln played an uneven match, losing close in set one and
winning set three, but gave up costly runs of points early in
sets two and four which they were unable to recover from. LC
will try to get back on the wining track on Friday when they
travel to play Hannibal-LaGrange University.

LC Coach Mark Tippett: "Passing off of serve receive was a big
problem for us in this match. Lindenwood was able to rack up
some quick points on us with aces and by taking us out of system
with tough serves. We did volley well with them and in sets one
and three we were able to control the tempo of play better in
order to score. Lindenwood has a good team and we battled hard,
so overall I am pleased with the effort, just not always with
our execution."
