WASHINGTON -- Dmitri Orlov scored the go-ahead goal with 5:04 left in
the game, and Alex Ovechkin scored his 40th of the season as the
Washington Capitals tallied twice in the third period to rally past the
Minnesota Wild 3-2 on Friday night.

Brooks Orpik also scored for Washington and center Nicklas Backstrom
had two assists. Braden Holtby stopped 30 shots as the Capitals
equaled their win total from all of last year.
Mikko Koivu and Nino Niederreiter scored for Minnesota, and Ryan
Suter and Jason Pominville had two assists each. Darcy Kuemper had
24 saves for the Wild, who lost three straight.
Bruins 4, Hurricanes 1
RALEIGH, N.C. -- Matt Beleskey scored two goals and Boston added to
its road success by defeating Carolina at PNC Arena.
Tuukka Rask made 39 saves for the Bruins, who have won three of
their past four games. Patrice Bergeron and Brad Marchand also
scored for Boston.
Noah Hanifin scored the Hurricanes goal while Cam Ward stopped 18
shots.
Lightning 4, Devils 0
NEWARK, N.J. -- Steven Stamkos and Ondrej Palat each scored a goal
and had an assist to lead Tampa Bay over New Jersey at the
Prudential Center.
Ryan Callahan recorded two assists, while Alex Killorn and Matt
Carle added goals for the Lightning, who won five straight. Ben
Bishop made 18 saves to record his third shutout of the season.
Cory Schneider stopped 31 of 35 shots for the Devils.
Ducks 2, Oilers 1 (OT)
ANAHEIM, Calif. -- Rickard Rakell scored 1:24 into overtime to give
Anaheim a victory over Edmonton at the Honda Center.

Ryan Getzlaf also scored to extend his point streak to 10 games, and
Frederik Anderson made 17 saves for his fifth successive win and the
Ducks' seventh in a row, a season high.
Jordan Eberle scored his 20th goal and Cam Talbot made 32 saves, but
the Oilers sustained their seventh consecutive loss and their 10th
in 11 games.
Sabres 3, Sharks 1
SAN JOSE, Calif. -- Zach Bogosian's tie-breaking goal at 12:36 of
the third period enabled Buffalo to skate out of SAP Center with a
win, thus ending San Jose's nine-game points streak.
Evander Kane and Brian Gionta scored the other goals for the Sabres.
Marc-Edouard Vlasic scored the Sharks lone goal.
