This was the scene last week on Tuesday and Wednesday at Lincoln Lakes, as homes were turned into private islands along the lakes edge. According to Lisa Mestinsek, who provided this shot, her husband and father-in-law spent Tuesday night at the lake, but on Wednesday were evacuated via boat by the Logan County Emergency Management Agency. Access and portions of roadways continued to be flooded on Thursday, but only one family left as emergency services continued to be on standby for any medical or otherwise urgent needs allowing the area residents to stay the holiday in their homes.
