ATLANTA (Reuters) - A man holding a
woman and 11 children hostage inside a motel near Atlanta was in a
standoff with police early on Tuesday, according to local media reports.

The man was not cooperating with police and was possibly armed
with a knife, leading law enforcement negotiators to believe the
hostages were in danger, WSB-TV reported.
A 3-month-old baby is the youngest hostage, the television station
reported, citing police.
The man holed up in a room at a DeKalb County motel after a domestic
dispute with the woman, a police official told the CBS46 TV station.
