"Transitioning to Organic Grains" workshop to be held January 13th
Meeting hosted by The Land Connection, features Logan County farmer as guest speaker

[January 06, 2016]  LINCOLN - The Logan County Economic Development Partnership invites area farmers and the general public to a “Transitioning to Organic Grains” training workshop hosted by The Land Connection on January 13, 2016. The workshop will be held from 8am-5pm at Dorr Township Hall, 1039 Lake Avenue, in Woodstock, Illinois.

Logan County farmer, David Bishop, whose PrairiErth Farm operation is located just south of Atlanta, will be one of several featured speakers at the Transitioning to Organic Grains workshop.

The Land Connection is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to training farmers in resilient, restorative farming techniques, informing the public about the sources of our food and why that matters, and to protecting and enhancing farmland so that we, and generations to come, will have clean air and water, fertile soil, and healthy, delicious food.
