CHICAGO -- Artemi Panarin scored two
goals, including the game-winner, for the second consecutive night to
lead the Chicago Blackhawks to a 3-1 win over the Pittsburgh Penguins at
the United Center on Wednesday.

Coming off a two-goal performance, including an overtime
game-winner, in the Blackhawks' 3-2 win over the Penguins in
Pittsburgh on Tuesday, Panarin was again the difference in the
second game of the back-to-back. He scored the game-winner Wednesday
with a shot from the right circle at 8:56 of the third period to
give the Blackhawks a 2-1 advantage.
Teuvo Teravainen scored an empty-net goal for the Blackhawks while
Evgeni Malkin scored the Penguins lone goal.
Canadiens 2, Devils 1
MONTREAL -- Special teams were the difference as Montreal edged New
Jersey at the Bell Centre.
Max Pacioretty and Torrey Mitchell scored for the Canadiens and Adam
Henrique replied for the Devils.
Mike Condon stopped 19 shots for the Canadiens while counterpart
Cory Schneider made 23 saves for New Jersey.
Canucks 3, Hurricanes 2
VANCOUVER, British Columbia -- Bo Horvat scored his second goal of
the night on a power play with 1:06 left in the third period to give
Vancouver a victory over Carolina.
Horvat took pass from behind the net from left winger Sven Baertschi
and snapped a shot past Carolina goaltender Eddie Lack. Horvat now
has five goals this seasons and three in his last two games.
The Canucks improved to 6-0-2 against Carolina in the teams' past
eight meetings at Rogers Arena.

Maple Leafs 4, Ducks 0
ANAHEIM, Calif. -- Jonathan Bernier tied a season high with 39 saves
for his second shutout, and Pierre-Alexandre Parenteau scored two
goals to lead the Toronto past Anaheim.
Tyler Bozak added two assists, giving him the team lead with 18, and
Dion Phaneuf contributed his 300th career assist for the Maple
Leafs, who have won three consecutive games and six of their past
eight.
Anaheim goalie John Gibson left 41 seconds into the third period
after Toronto's Nazem Kadri collided with him. Kadri slipped while
attempting an off-balance shot, and his left leg hit Gibson's right
hip.
Avalanche 4, Blues 3 (OT)
DENVER -- Gabriel Landeskog scored at 4:44 of overtime, lifting
Colorado over St. Louis.
Nathan MacKinnon, Matt Duchene and Mikhail Grigorenko also scored
for the Avalanche, who got 35 saves from Semyon Varlamov.
Vladimir Tarasenko had a goal and an assist, and Patrik Berglund and
David Backes also had goals for the Blues. St. Louis lost its fourth
straight, the past two in overtime.
