			1:00 p.m. Sunday, January 10, 2016 at Memorial Medical Center, 
			Springfield.

							Obituary 
							 
							Erma Fae Bennett, 82, of Greenview, formerly of 
							Elkhart, passed away at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, January 
							10, 2016 at Memorial Medical Center, Springfield. 
							 
							Erma was born April 22, 1933 in Buffalo; daughter of 
							Elmore and Viola “Susie” Long Heissinger. She 
							married Joseph Powell Bennett on February 4, 1954 in 
							Williamsville. He survives her. 
							 
							Also surviving Erma are her children: Brenda (Roger) 
							Doll of O’Fallon, Jill (Dan) Urish of Mt. Pulaski, 
							Jodi (Randy) VanKeuren of Champaign; four 
							grandchildren: Abby Doll of Washington D.C., Tyler 
							Urish of St. Louis, Ashlee VanKeuren and Reed 
							VanKeuren both of Champaign. Erma was preceded in 
							death by her parents and brother: Warren Heissinger. 
							 
							Erma was a member of Elkhart Christian Church, 
							Middletown American Legion Auxiliary, and the 
							Eastern Star. She was a farmer’s wife and a full 
							time mom.  | 
							
							 
                    
					  
							A memorial service for Erma will be 11:00 a.m. 
							Thursday January 14, 2016, at Elkhart Christian 
							Church in Elkhart, with Stacy Popejoy officiating. 
							Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday January 
							13, 2016, at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in 
							Lincoln. Burial at Walnut Hill Cemetery will be held 
							at a later date.  
							 
							Memorials may be given in Erma’s name to Elkhart 
							Christian Church or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
