- Elizabeth G. Mills Loercher McGuire, 95, of McLean, passed away on
Monday, January 11, 2016, at 12:28 p.m. at Heritage Manor in Normal.

Visitation:
Friday, January 15, 2016, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00
p.m. at the McLean Christian Church and also from
9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. prior to the service on
Saturday.
Service:
Saturday, January 16, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at
the church

Obituary
Elizabeth G. Mills Loercher McGuire, 95, of McLean,
passed away on Monday, January 11, 2016, at 12:28
p.m. at Heritage Manor in Normal.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 15, 2016,
from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the McLean
Christian Church and also from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30
a.m. prior to the service on Saturday.
Funeral services will be held at the McLean
Christian Church on Saturday, January 16, 2016 at
10:30 a.m. with Mr. Tony Billingsley officiating.
Burial will follow in the McLean Cemetery.
Elizabeth Geneva Mills, the last surviving member of
her family, was born on March 1, 1920, in McLean,
the daughter of William and Maude Coffaman Mills.
She first married Martin J. Loercher in May of 1936.
He passed away in March 1955 at home in McLean.
Elizabeth then married L. Weldon McGuire in April
1956, in Lincoln. They celebrated their 50th
anniversary in April 2006.
Elizabeth is survived by one daughter: Loretta Carol
(Larry) Hankins of Normal; four sons: Richard (Jean)
Loercher of Whitefish, Mont., Paul (Vickie) Loercher
of McLean, Roger (Ursula) Loercher of Normal, David
(Jane) McGuire of Broken Arrow, Okla., one
daughter-in-law: Carol Loercher of Bloomington; two
step-sons: Ron (Connie) McGuire of Atlanta and Larry
(Susan) McGuire of Lexington; 11 grandchildren; 20
great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren;
special nieces and nephews that visited often and
kept her company and in reading materials, and many
other nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, two sons: Fred
Loercher and Neil McGuire; a granddaughter: Kathy Marlow; a
grandson: Nelson O'Neill; three sisters and three brothers.
Elizabeth was employed as a bookkeeper for the McLean Veterinary
Service. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, reading, games and
especially time spent with her family at home during Sunday
dinners other special gatherings.
Memorials may be made to Mt. Hope-Funk's Grove Fire Protection
District (Ambulance) or an organization of the donor's choice.
Final arrangements are entrusted with Quiram-Peasley Funeral
Home of Atlanta.
