The evening began with the third place game, that matched the
Wolverines of West Lincoln-Broadwell against the Panthers of
Chester-East Lincoln.
The game was back and forth all night, with CEL finally coming out
on top 28-27.
The Panthers were led in scoring by Seth Tungate with 14 and Elijah
Pollice with 12. West Lincoln was led by Patrick McCraith with 11
and Lucas Konczyk with 10.
The championship game saw the two seeded Bruins of Mount Pulaski
take on the one seed Crusaders of Carroll Catholic/New
Holland-Middletown/Zion Lutheran.
In another close game, that saw two evenly matched teams trade
baskets all night, the Crusaders came out on top by a score of
47-44.
The Crusaders were led in scoring by Dylan Singleton with 33 points.
Also scoring for the Crusaders were Alex Jannsen with 7, Trent
Koehler with 5 and Nathan Fulscher with 2. The Bruins were led by
Drew Martin and Grant Davis, who each tallied 14 points. Also
scoring for Mt. Pulaski were Lane Murphy with 8, Evan Cooper with 4
and Aidan Schneider with 4.

Congratulations to all the participants for a great tournament.
The Eighth Grade Logan County Tournament will begin today at 10 a.m.
with CCS/NHM/ZLS playing Hartsburg-Emden.
Following that game will be CEL vs. Mount Pulaski at 11:15 a.m. and
WLB will play the winner of game one at 12:30 p.m. The tournament
will take place at the Lincoln College gymnasium.
