Benjamin and Whitney (Haynes) Rekart

On
October 10th, 2015, Whitney Leigh Haynes and Benjamin Lee Rekart
were united in marriage in Memorial Park in Lincoln. Officiating the
service was Pastor Mark Peters of the Faith Lutheran Church.

 Cylie Rekart served at the Maid of Honor with Kelli Allison as
the Matron of Honor. Bridesmaids included Sarah Hughes, Hannah
Farmer, Carissa Skaggs, and Tara Mesner. Kristopher Fisher served as
the Best Man, with Daniel Osborn, Ricky Hughes, T.J. Kissel, Lewis
Allison, and Mason Bakken serving as Groomsmen.
Whitney is the daughter of Donnetta Stewart of Lincoln. She is a
2009 graduate of Lincoln Community High School and a 2011 graduate
of Lincoln College. Whitney is currently furthering her education,
working toward her degree in Healthcare Management at South Illinois
University in Carbondale. She is also employed as a Medical Office
Associate at the Institute for Plastic Surgery at the SIU School of
Medicine in Springfield.

Benjamin is the son of Dennis and Teresa Rekart of Lincoln. He is a
2011 graduate of Lincoln Community High School and a 2013 graduate
of Lincoln College. Benjamin is also working toward his degree in
Healthcare Management at Southern Illinois University. Benjamin is
currently employed as a Medical Insurance Associate at the Simmons
Cancer Institute at the SIU School of Medicine.
The couple resides in Lincoln with their dog Bentley.
