MOUNT
PULASKI - Kurtis Hoock, son of Gayle Hoock of Mount Pulaski, has
been named January Senior of the Month at Mount Pulaski High School.
He was selected for this honor based on the criteria of scholarship,
leadership, service, and character.

For the last four years at MPHS Kurtis has participated in
Scholastic Bowl, Spanish Club, Spirit Squad, and Book Club. He has
also been a member of National Honor Society for three years, Golf
and Science Olympiad for two years, and WYSE and Prom Committee one
year.
Kurtis plans on being a finance major at Illinois State University.
The Senior of the Month program is sponsored by Johnson’s Food
Center and Johnson True Value Hardware. Monthly award winners
receive a $50 award paid to the college they plan to attend. They
are also in the running for the $500 Senior-of-the-Year award
sponsored by Illinois National Bank.
