Spring for Tea will be held in the Fellowship Center of the
church. Doors to the event open at 10:45 a.m. with tea being served
at 11:30 a.m. The tea will feature a number of beautiful and
uniquely appointed tables complete with china, silver, and crystal
and offering a variety of colorful themes and décor. Women from
throughout the area will serve as table hostesses, both decorating
the tables and presiding over them, graciously attending to the
needs of their guests.
The traditional Men in Black will again be on hand to greet the tea
guests and escort them to their appointed tables. Guests will be
invited to participate in a promenade of the beautifully decorated
tables as they await the time for serving of tea.
Following the serving of a menu of tasty tea foods and a special hot
tea, interspersed with lively conversation, a special program will
be offered. Throughout the tea a number of lovely door prizes,
provided by local businesses and individuals, will be presented to
those in attendance.
Tickets for Spring for Tea are sold in advance with this year’s
sales beginning on February 1 and concluding on April 2. Chairperson
Bidwell reports that there is limited seating for the event and that
tickets sell quickly. Tickets may be purchased by visiting the
