MOUNT
PULASKI - Starting at 9 a.m. Saturday morning, the city of Mount

The Market will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on July 9th, August
13th, September 10th, and October 8th. Currently, there are 20
vendors signed up for the first market. Those vendors will be
offering everything from antiques and handcrafted merchandise to
produce and baked goods.
While in town, don’t forget to visit the lovely retail shops on the
square, and drop in at one of the several eateries for a nice lunch.
Also this week there will be special drawings held at the Mount
Pulaski Courthouse.
According to Barbara Stroud-Borth, supervisor at the Courthouse, the
repairs inside are now complete, and the Courthouse is open for
tours on Saturday. In celebration there will be a drawing for gift
certificates held on Saturday at 10 a.m., 11 a.m., noon and 1 p.m.
Repairs made to the courthouse were paid for by the Mount Pulaski
Courthouse Foundation with gifts received from many local folks as
well as various organizations, and supporters of the courthouse from
around the world. The Courthouse Foundation issued a check to the
State of Illinois to cover the costs of the new roof and interior
repairs included replacing broken roof trusses.
