[July 10, 2016]  LINCOLN - Jacqueline "Jackie" Sullivan, 84, of Lincoln passed away on Saturday morning July 9, 2016 at Memorial Medical center in Springfield.

Visitation: 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at Peasley Funeral Home in Lincoln

Service: 11 a.m. Tuesday, at the funeral home

Obituary

Jacqueline "Jackie" Sullivan, 84, of Lincoln passed away on Saturday morning July 9, 2016 at Memorial Medical center in Springfield.

Funeral Services for Jackie will be held on Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at 11:00 a. m. at the Peasley Funeral Home in Lincoln with Rev. Michael Paulson officiating.

Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until time of service on Tuesday.

Burial will be in Richmond Grove Cemetery in rural New Holland.

Jacqueline Frakes was born on September 18, 1931 in Middletown the daughter of Ancle and Ella Gladys Boyer Frakes.

She is survived by her daughter: Jamie (Rick) Holmes of New Holland, two grandchildren: Heather (Richard Rieves) Holmes of Phoenix , Arizona, Corey (Dana) Holmes of Lincoln, Six great grandchildren: Lily, Paisley, Charlie, Averie, Ava, Braxton. One sister: Dolores Ludlum of Atlanta.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers: Don Frakes and William Frakes.

Jackie graduated from the Middletown High School.

 

Funeral Director

She retired from the State of Illinois Department of Children and Family Services in Springfield. She later worked at the Middletown State Bank for seven years.

She attended the Lincoln United Methodist Church. She was a member of American Legion Auxiliary , Knapp Chestnut Becker Historical Society in Middletown, Oasis Senior Citizens Center, Sunday card Club Group, Quilting Guild, American Sewing Guild, United Methodist Women's in New Holland. and a volunteer for the Relay for Life.

Jackie was an avid bowler at Logan Lanes and attended several National Bowling events. She also enjoyed playing Bunco, Bingo and Canasta.

She also enjoyed attending her grandchildren's and great grandchildren's sporting events.

Memorials may be made to the Knapp Chestnut Becker Historical Society in Middletown, Oasis Senior Citizens Center or the Charity of the donor's choice.
