Obituary
Constance “Connie” M. McCullough ,92, passed away at
5:59 a.m. on Sunday July 10, 2016 at Abraham Lincoln
Memorial Hospital in Lincoln.
Connie was born on January 7, 1924 in Decatur,
daughter of Charles and Nellye Lindsey Tate. She
married Bernard Dale “Bing” McCullough on January 4,
1944 in Fort Sill, OK. He preceded her in death on
January 19, 1994.
Surviving Connie are her daughters: Carole (Bob)
Meyer of Washington, Kathryn “Kaggie” Aue of
Lincoln, Cynthia ‘Cindy” Singleton of Lincoln, seven
grandchildren: Mark Meyer, Marcy (Russ) Arnold,
Staci (George) Lacefield, Scott “Booey” (Jenny)
Singleton, Ryan (Charissa) Aue, Justin Aue, and Amy
(Troy) Brown; six great-grandchildren: Morgan and
Garrett Lacefield, Ella Singleton, Brayton and
Braylee Brown, and Tate Aue. She was preceded in
death by her parents, three brothers: Brown,
Raymond, and Frank; two sisters: Carmye Kohler and
Charlotte Heinzel, and one granddaughter: Robyn Aue.

Connie was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church.
She loved her family and friends and spending time
with them. She was an avid Cub fan.
Services for Connie will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday
July 15, 2016 at Holy Family Catholic Church in
Lincoln, with Father Geoffrey Horton officiating.
Visitation will be two hours prior to the service
(9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.). Burial at Holy Cross
Cemetery will follow the service.
Memorials may be made in Connie’s name to Carrol
Catholic School or Donor’s Choice.
The family would like to thank Dr. Melissa Cox for
all she has done for Connie and her family. Services
are entrusted to Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral
Home in Lincoln, IL.
