Obituary
Ella Marie Hall, 85, of Greenview, passed away
June 22, 2016, at Memorial Medical Center.
Cremation rites have been accorded by Holland Barry
& Bennett Funeral Home. A celebration of life
service will be held Saturday, July 9, 2016, at 11
a.m. at Sweetwater Christian Church with a
fellowship luncheon to follow. Private family burial
will be held prior to the service at Irish Grove
Cemetery, Middletown.
Ella was born June 8, 1931, in Menard County, the
daughter of William and Leona (Jurgens) Pritchard.
She married Wilbur J. Hall in 1947. He preceded her
in death in 1980. Mrs. Hall was a member of
Sweetwater Christian Church. She was a homemaker and
loved to cook, bake, and feed people. She also
enjoyed coloring and jigsaw puzzles. She was an avid
St Louis Cardinals baseball fan.

Surviving are her children: Larry (Gayle) Hall of Beason, Paul Richard Hall of
Middletown, Jennifer (Robert) Baka of Pawnee, Danny (Paula) Hall of Beason, and
Le Ann Hall of Greenview; nine grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; brother
Jim Pritchard of Decatur and sister Mary Ann Matthews also of Decatur.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her aunt, Mary
Jurgens.
Memorial donations may be made to Sweetwater Christian Church.
