Obituary
Marian Ruth Wilson Reinhart of Beason passed away at
4:10 a.m. July 19, 2016 at her residence.
Marian was born August 23, 1930 at Sioux City, IA,
the daughter of Francis Evans and Marjorie Helen
Maddox Wilson. She married Wendell E. Reinhart Nov.
15, 1953 at Beason Methodist Church, Beason. He
preceded her in death July 25, 2013.
Marian is survived by her children: Greg Reinhart
and Judy Eddy; both of Beason, Scott (Susan)
Reinhart of Atlanta and Janet (Jim) Davis of
Maryville, MO. ten grandchildren and seven great
grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her
parents, husband, and two brothers: William and
Robert Wilson.
Marian was a registered nurse in Lincoln for Dr.
Blaum and Dr. Boyd; She later was an RN in Iowa and
Texas before retiring to Lincoln and retiring from
Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital Intensive Care
Unit after eight years. She was a member of Atlanta
Christian Church; she was the valedictorian at
Beason High School in 1948; from 1948-1950 she was
in pre-nursing and lived at the 4-H House; member of
ORCHSAS modern dance group; she was in the first
class at University of Illinois to receive a
Bachelor of Science in Nursing and she was an
Honorary member of Chi Omega Pi at the University of
Illinois. She loved music and sang in the church
choir. Her love for the Lord led her to play the
piano for the church. |
Services for Marian will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday
July 22, 2016 at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral
Home in Lincoln with Maurice Stribling officiating.
Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Thursday July
21st at the funeral home. Burial will follow the
services at Harmony Cemetery in Beason.
Memorials may be made to the Beason Rescue Squad,
the American Legion Post # 1189 Auxiliary, or to the
Atlanta Christian Church.
