Terms of the deal were not disclosed by the team for
Gatewood, who recorded 117 tackles and eight interceptions in
four seasons (42 games) at Alcorn State.
The 22-year-old Baltimore native posted a career-high 47 tackles
and four interceptions during his senior year.
Gatewood excelled when it matters most, picking off three passes
and returning one for a touchdown to lead the Braves past
Grambling in the 2015 Southwestern Athletic Conference
championship game.
