			St. John UCC to host three 
			fundraisers to benefit local missions and charities

			LINCOLN 
			- St. John United Church of Christ Mission Committee will host a 
			fundraiser from 5 to 8 p.m. at Culver's Restaurant, 2530 Woodlawn in 
			Lincoln on Sunday, July 17. |

			 Ten percent of the sales during that time slot will be donated by 
			Culver’s to Community Action for the Diaper Project that St. John 
			UCC is promoting. A box will also be on site during that time for 
			any donations of diapers to be given to the project. 
 Christmas in July Quarter Auction

 A “Christmas in July Quarter Auction” will benefit the TOYS FOR TOTS 
			program. The Music Makers and Mission Committee of St. John United 
			Church of Christ will co-host this fundraiser. It will be held at 
			6;30 p.m. on Monday, July 25th at St. John UCC , 204 7th Street in 
			Lincoln. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. A light supper will also be 
			available for a small charge.
 
 The Toys For Tots program in Lincoln/Logan County is part of the 
			world-wide program sponsored by the United States Marines. All 
			proceeds from the local fundraiser will benefit the children of 
			Logan County whose families’ budgets do not afford toys for them at 
			Christmas
 
			
			 Vendor and Craft Fair fundraiser for Logan Co. Narcan kits 
			project

 As part of the ongoing support for the Narcan Kit Project for 
			emergency responders of drug overdose, a Craft and Vendor Fair will 
			be held on Saturday July 30, 2016, at St, John’s Church.

			Cathy Sanders is the organizer/coordinator of this fundraiser. It 
			will be held in the Fellowship Hall of St. John United Church of 
			Christ at 204 7th Street in Lincoln from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Some 
			of the vendors already signed up are Avon, Celebrating HOME, 
			Thirty-one, It Works!, Love What you Do!, Pink Zebra, Stella & Dot, 
			and Paparazzi and many more. All Proceeds will be donated to the 
			Narcan Kit Project that is coordinated though the Logan County 
			Health department. 
			 
Recently the ReNew Consignment and Thrift Store presented a check for $301 to 
St. John for the fundraiser sponsored at the store. Fundraisers by St. John UCC 
and the Lincoln Rotary, with community support have generated a total thus far 
of $1333.70 which will afford purchase of over 22 kits (Note: there are two 
doses in each kit ) and with continued support of all the fundraisers by anyone 
in the county more kits that are needed will be possible.
