Verizon nearing deal to acquire Yahoo's core business: Bloomberg

[July 22, 2016]  (Reuters) - Verizon Communications Inc is the lead bidder to acquire Yahoo Inc's core business, Bloomberg reported on Friday.

An announcement may come in the next few days, Bloomberg said. (http://bloom.bg/2af1NhP)

Verizon and Yahoo were not immediately available to comment.
